Now till March 31 - In Store donations benefit Whosoever Gospel

Now through March, in-store donations are sponsored by the William Penn Charter School and will benefit Whosoever Gospel Mission.

Every year, the students of William Penn Charter School divide into groups and choose a local organization to learn about and sponsor—and Bargain Thrift Center is honored to be one of this year’s hosts.

This class is eager to give back to the community, and has chosen to be our spring In-Store Donation partner. This means all proceeds made from your in-store donations this spring will go to our Penn Charter class, who have pledged all of it to Whosever Gospel Mission.

Whosoever Gospel Mission is a beloved local nonprofit who has provided assistance programs and resources for the homeless since 1892.

Our 7th grade team have visited us several times to learn about our operations, and have assisted with tasks like trash pick-up and clothes hanging. They will be encouraging the Penn Charter community to donate to Bargain Thrift Center, and are collecting on-site at their school as well.

Penn Charter was founded on Quaker principles which guide its programs today, focusing on community, civic engagement, and environmental sustainability.
